Fair warning

· 194 words · 1 minute read

I am currently collecting further cameras and lenses to place upon the great lottery that is eBay. Why the sudden need to raise cash I hear you ask (actually I don’t, maybe just a deep, resigned sigh). And this is the answer:

1959 Leica M3

Almost certainly the most beautiful lump of craftsmanship I have ever held in my hands. I am going to bore you shitless with an extended description of this machine at some point in the future; consider this fair warning. In the meantime, I have stuff I suddenly don’t need any more that needs to be sold.

I had a friend in Chandigarh about 35 years back who owned an M3 and a few exquisite Leitz lenses, all in immaculate condition. He also had a Leicaflex, and used both cameras to stunning effect. The pinnacle of Leicadom…go for it, Spike. Good luck !
